“Rob was warm and supportive. He enabled me to talk about difficulties I had in my childhood 42 years previously”

Hello, my name is Rob. I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). My clients come with a range of issues – relationship difficulties including abusive relationships past and present - life changes such as bereavement and loss - personal difficulties: anxiety, loneliness, low self-esteem – and so much more. My work is with both children (11-17) and adults. I am experienced in counselling for agencies and private practice. I currently work for the Sexual Abuse and Assault Support Service (SAASS) and privately. I have formally worked for the young peoples' agency, "Time to Talk." The therapy that I practise is person-centred.

My aim is to offer a trusting, confidential and safe space where you will feel genuinely heard and free to express yourself in an open and honest way without fear of judgement. We can work together to understand your challenges and make personal change, growth and transformation a reality for you.

Feel free to ask me about my way of working, my qualifications, experience and anything at all you don't understand.

It is vitally important I am the right counsellor for you. Please contact me for a free initial conversation.

I fully adhere to the BACP ethical framework for good practise.

Issues I have worked with:

Anxiety, behavioural issues, bereavement, emotional difficulties, loneliness, suicidal thinking, parenting, PTSD, self-harm, sexual abuse and assault, teenagers, trauma and young people.
